And later after lots of hand slapping - he signed autographs and even a guitar (I'm wondering if it was a Make a Wish or something). They showed lots of video clips all the way through and really did great camera effects for the big screens.

Here's what he played:Summertime (this was his opener and he came up out of the floor opposite stage end - and hopped onto his 'swing' and took a ride over the crowd to the stage!),Big Star, Young, No Shoes No Shirt No Problem,Live these Songs, Never gonna feel that way again, How forever Feels, Tractor, Don't happen twice, For the first time,Back where I come from (with the help of visitor Eli Manning - Peyton's lil' brother of the NY GIANTS),There goes my life, Who you'd be today (a touching rendition), I go back, When the Sun Goes down (he started this song on his own - and the crowd exploded when U.Kracker walked out from backstage and joined him! They also sang Kid Rock's Cowboy and Drift away), Keg in the closet, Anything but mine (he started by saying that this is one of his favorite songs...), Old blue chair (all by himself with his guitar and a mic under a single spotlight- no band!), Woman with you, Living in Fast Forward, Beer in mexico... I'm sure I'm missing some...

I wasnt surprised by all the cowboy hats in NYC until the walk back to Grand Central when it hit me! They were everywhere! Carrie and Dierks were the openers and Kenny had them come back out to sing 1 each w/ him towards the end (they finally got to walk on the 'T' part of the stage).

I don't know if it was just the moment or something more - but Kenny seemed awfully close to Carrie! He also pulled a lovely brunette out of the wings and onto the stage (she clearly did not want to sing with him and shyly slipped away from him and back off stage).

I think that the acoustics could have been improved on, but not so much that it ruined anything... it was a fantastic show! He said its 'the first but definately not the last' he'll be back to NYC again - and so will I!

I would have went alone , Kenny is the man , so is kirby for such a GREAT website ,, !!!!

This is an outdoor theater just a short distance from the Mexican border. I was there on business from Pennsyvania and decided to take in a Kenny's concert.

I had second row seats on the left side - my biggest grip was all the girls rushing to the stage once Chesney ran down the aisle to the stage after his opening song.

Security could not keep them away. I am only 5'5" and the people in front row decided to all stand on their seats - the people behind me pushed forward and my seat was being pushed into my legs. Basically I was was being stampeded in my 2nd row seat! I flipped the seat up and moved towards the aisle since the girl next to me ran up front!

Finally after a few songs security got some people back to their seat and I could see him but it was a loosing battle all during the show- screaming girls rushing to the front.

I went there to enjoy his music and to see him in person but saw nothing but immature women screaming, getting drunk and trying to be noticed by the singer.

I will wait until he is Old and not in demand to see him again(MAYBE). He needs to INSIST Venue Security have better control of the environment. NOT ALL WOMEN WENT TO SCREAM AND OOGLE OVER HIM_ I went to hear someones music I found enjoyable- but I did not enjoy the show because of all the problems that exsisted with the uncontrolable fans.

Kenny played forever... by the end of the concert my son (this was his first)was asking is this the last song and then Kenny would sing another and he would turn and say "Is this the last one".

With 15,000 in attendance, Sugarland got great reviews from this reporter by opening with "Something More," "Just Might (Make Me Believe)" and "Baby Girl. The crowd was standing and were singing along to the very familiar tunes.

Apparently Dierks Bentley needs to stop overpowering his vocals with loud rock sounding guitars as happened on more than one occassion throughout his set. But when he settled down into a more tranquil bluegrass atmosphere, his talent really shone thru.

Kenny made his grand entrance from the back of the arena on a small platform, then swung over the crowd to end up on the main stage in front of 3 mega video screens.

Kenny rattled off hit after hit dressed in jeans, cowboy hat and sleeveless shirt while displaying his toned and tanned body. I won't spoil the upcoming events by listing all the songs Kenny performed but "Living In Fast Forward" was definitely one of them ,as was "Back Where I Come From" while video from downtown Oklahoma City and the University of Oklahoma campus was displayed.

Of course Uncle Kracker was on hand to sing a kinda rock version of "When the Sun Goes Down" and "Who You'd Be Today" closed out the evening.

My comments:Well apparently Thur nights opening show in Dayton was a near sellout and Kenny didn't disappoint his fans.

Wright State University's Ervin J. Nutter Center was practically full to it's 10,500 seat capacity for Kennys opening night of the Road And The Radio Tour.

The show opened from a mini-island stage out in the middle of the area floor before Kenny made a high wire exit over the crowd to a more normal size stage. There was lots of energy in the building as Kenny, for his performance portion of the night, gave his fans nearly 2 solid hrs after his opening act departed.
