This Kenny Chesney Young Live version hails from the Heinz Field Pittsburg PA show from his ABC Special a few years back in front of 62,000 fans. You can sure feel the energy the crowd has built up when Kenny hits the first note, especially when the "curtain" drops. I know, there is an official name for that "curtain" but it escapes me at the moment.
It must be a Godsend to have those huge video screens for those folks in the nosebleed section. I remember seeing KISS perform at the old Forum in Halifax promoting their KISS Alive II album, and it was the greatest event I ever saw ... but the place only held about 8-10,000 people, so it was "cozy" compared to a huge stadium like Heinz Field. And I even got a Peter Criss drumstick from that performance.
Young became a huge hit for Kenny in 2002, but not a No.1 surprisingly. It did make it to No.2 however. It's a great concert opener because of its up-tempo beat and great lyrics. Besides, it's easy to get the crowd goin' as you'll see here when Kenny gets them singing "ooh-ooh-oooohh".
