Kenny Chesney Arrested

Now I'm sure when you read that headline, Kenny Chesney Arrested, you probably thought, naw .. must be a mistake. Not good ole Kenny.

Well we're goin back a few years here folks but yes, back in Jun of 2000, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw were both involved in an incident in Buffalo New York. The story goes as follows.

On Sat 3rd Jun '00, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw were outside of Ralph Wilson Stadium where George Strait was performing. Kenny asked if he could sit on a Mounted Reserve Deputy Sherrif's horse. The daughter of the deputy, who actually owned the horse, said yes Kenny could sit on her horse.

Well wouldn't you know it, once up there, Kenny couldn't resist and off he went. In spite of being asked to stop. Now it's unknown if the horse took off, or if Kenny knew how to stop the horse, but he was eventually cornered by other deputies on the scene.

And while all this was apparently going on, Tim McGraw and entourage were running play interference against the deputies chasing Kenny. Talk about a few moments to remember ... shucks!

Was Kenny arrested! Yep, he was charged with disorderly conduct and released on $100 bail while Tim McGraw was charged with assault, obstructing governmental administration, menacing and resisting arrest. He was released on $2,500 bail. One might say Kenny had all the fun while Tim payed the piper.

A third member of the bunch was also charged with a list and released on $500 bail.
